Shallco Open Frame Switches

We use these high quality switches in our kits and offer them for sale to folks wanting to DIY a pre-amp themselves.



Shallco 23 Step Series C open frame switch

This is the switch we use as a level control switch in our pre-amps. One switch will switch volume levels for both channels in a stereo TVC project. We modify the detent here for nicer feel than the stock shallco switches. These switches have a rear shaft extension allowing a clean remote control motor connection. Specs:

  • 2 Decks for stereo operation with one unit

  • Shorting (Make Before Break) Type

    • This is a mono version of the switch above. Two switches are needed (dual mono) for wiring a stereo pre-amp. We modify the detent here for nicer feel than the stock shallco switches. Specs:

  • 23 Positions

  • 1 Decks for mono control

  • Shorting (Make Before Break) Type

  • 15 Degrees per step

    This is a 2 deck 4 pole switch that can switch both hot and ground for 2 channels in a pre-amp using both RCA and XLR inputs. Specs:

  • 6 Positions

  • 2 Decks

  • 4 Poles total(for switching both + and - lines to TX102 Primary)

  • Non Shorting (Break Before Make) Type

  • 30 Degrees per step

  • Price $110 each


    • This is a single deck version of the switch above. Two switches are needed (dual mono) to switch hot and ground for both channels. One switch can be used to switch hot only for both the right and left channels of an RCA only stereo pre-amp project. Specs:

  • 6 Positions

  • 1 Deck

  • 2 Poles (for switching both + and - lines to TX102 Primary)

  • Non Shorting (Break Before Make) Type

  • 30 Degrees per step

    All Prices are in US funds. We accept Paypal, money orders or personal cheques (must clear before shipment). For paypal we must add the 3% fee they charge as we do not build it in to our pricing.
