The FLEX Kit System

We have only a small stock of TVC parts for the FLEX pre-amp system. After these parts are gone there will be no more TVC based FLEX pre-amps. Please contact us if you would like one of these units as a custom made pre-amp or as a kit
FLEX is a collection of enclosures and parts that can be combined in many different ways to built exactly the pre-amp you need. All internal parts are identical to out well recieved NOH pre-amp - with a more 'Flexible' case configuration. Each of the 3 rotary switch locations can be configured as source select, volume control, rotary mute select. Additionally there are 2 toggle switch locations on the front panel
The FLEX System has far too many system configurations for use to make specific assembly instructions for every possible build. Beacuase of this we only recomend building it if you have a basic understanding of the wiring and if you have done some diy work in the past. If you see a system you'd like but are wary of doing the build yourself please let us know and we can build, test, and burn-in a pre-amp for you here in our shop.
Possible Configurations Include
- Stereo Volume in the center with Mute on the left and Source Select on the right
- Dual Mono Volume Controls on the left and right with a stereo source select in the center
- Stereo Level Control in the center position with 2 input toggles on either side of the center
- Shallco Switch based TVC Level Control or Traditional Resistor Attenuators
- Optional Remote Volume Control and Source Selection
- FLEX can be built as a large 15" deep chassis to form a shell of an active pre-amp or to include a built in DAC or Phono Stage
The FLEX Base Price is $225 US funds and this includes all enclosure hardware including:
- The Basic FLEX Chassis witb Chrome Volume Control Knob
- Back Panel precut for RCA and XLR connectors OR for only RCA connectors
- Removable Back Panel Plate - Easy to custom drill for special connectors
- Filler plugs for unused RCA, XLR and Toggle Switch locations
- Front Panel Lable Plates to suit your particular Build Configuration
- Copper Straps and Sorbothane pads for TVC Mounting
- OCC Copper Hook-up Wire and Solder
- Chassis Ground Lug

The FLEX Lable System
There are far to many possible FLEX system configurations for us to stock a front plate custom made to suit each one. To still allow customers to have propper lables for their pre-amps we use lable plates. Here are the initialy availiable plates
