The TAP-X Kit System
TAP-X is a collection of enclosure options and modules that let diy'ers build projects using our new series of TAP modules. This makes sense when you want the features of our TAP pre-amplifier but would like to build a diy DAC or phono stage project into the same enclosure. Another use might be if you are doing an active pre-amp or traditional resistor based passive pre-amp - the TAX-X parts can be combined to create a fully remote controlled 'shell' for your project. All TAP parts listed are also availiable separately for you to mount into your own enclosure design
The TAP-X System has far too many system configurations for use to make specific assembly instructions for every possible build. Beacuase of this we only recomend building one if you have a good understanding of the wiring and if you have done some diy work in the past. If you see a system you'd like but are wary of doing the build yourself please let us know and we can build, test, and burn-in a pre-amp for you here in our shop.
The new TAP-X pre-amp is designed to have many new features but it is important to note that NONE of these features in any way complicates the signal path. The signal path is 100% passive and only the finest components are used throughout.
