Remote Volume System
Introduction
The Stepped Switch remote system allows you to add remote control to Goldpoint or Dact stepped attenuators. We also package this remote system with our 23 step Shallco switch designed to be used for oem/diy Autoformer or Transformer pre-amps.
The system is designed specifically for stepped attenuators and switches. It rotates in the exact step size required for each step. Full manual operation of volume via your front panel volume knob continues to operate just as it did before the remote installation.
The Stepped Switch Remote Control Kit Features:
- Direct coupled stepper motor using custom machined mount and coupling
- Includes all parts needed (see pics and parts list below)
- Completely assembled and wired - no electronics knowledge required
- Remote IR receiver on 8" extender cable
- All clocks shutoff and go to 'sleep' between commands for noise free operation
The Stepped Switch Remote Control Kit Specs:
- Required voltage = 15Vdc to 18Vdc
- Required Current = 400mA for Goldpont /Dact and 700mA for the Shallco switch
- Very low 4Ma standby current (when the motor is not turning
- Step Size is 15 degrees per step standard

Note that the Goldpoint and Dact attenuators are not sold by Bent Audio - there are too many combinations of decks and impedances for us to stock them here!

Please Note: The Shallco switch is only a switch - not a complete attenuator. It is designed to be wired to an autoformer or transformer volume control. If you are looking for a complete attenuator please choose the Goldpoint or Dact option listed above.

Shipping
